Alex and husbandry!

I absolutely love helping out with husbandry duties, especially since I get to be a part of the coolest one, taking the sea turtles out to sun. It was an awesome experience even though I ended up looking like I went for a swim in the tank. I also get to help feed the birds in the salt marsh, which is fun because we can play a little catch with the pelicans. Another job I have is cleaning out the snake enclosures. I really don’t mind it because it is just another excuse to let me handle the lil’ guys. This job just seems to get better and better and I can’t believe I get to do this all summer long.
