How Josh feels about husbandry....

Husbandry is not a bad job at all and can actually be quite a bit of fun. They’re definitely not as hard or intense as some of the jobs I’ve done at my grandparents’ ranch in North Dakota. So far I have cleaned snake enclosures, done bird rounds at the salt marsh aviary, and today got to chill out in the sun with the sea turtles. My favorite so far has to be the bird rounds; it’s funny how the pelicans, gulls and other birds snatch the fish with their beaks and chase after them when the fish are thrown into the salt marsh by us. Of course there is also cleaning out all the food dishes, which can be a bit smelly at times, but at least it’s not cleaning out snake poop from the snake enclosures!
